Responsibilities:
Crowd Control:Â All available staff
Place Rods:Â ADE Organising 1st, 2nd, 3rd place rods
Lap Markers: SKT/ SJN (You will need a vivid for marking-Tautahanga Road Driveway)
PSR/ SHT: Starter cones, , tarps, mats, recording sheets, organise recorders’ desks and chairs, cones, rubbish bags, Set up finishing chute, rope/markers and chairs with age labels.

Prior to event:
• Children to wear house coloursÂ
• Teachers to write initial of Child’s house and age on hand (T5 = Tongariro 5yr old)
• Ensure children have appropriate footwear and clothing
• All children are toileted
• All classes to be assembled on the field for debrief by 2pm please
• Teachers to wear their duty vests for visibility and identification on the course.
At Assembly area:
• Students are to sit in age groups ( 5yr girls, 5yr boys)
• Children will compete in age and gender groups beginning with Yr 7 &8
• The day will begin with a welcome and debrief. Teachers out on the course will move into position at this point.  All marker cones to be set up by teachers going out onto the course. Teachers please place cones at appropriate points in your designated areas.
• Race marshals will move students in age and gender groups to the starting area to begin the first race which will be Yr 7 & 8 followed by 5  Yr old boys
• Races will be staggered to avoid congestion.
• Race marshals will hand out rods to the first 3 place getters for each year group.  These students will then report to the recorders who will enter their results.  Once students have completed their race they are to return to their designated seating area.
• The finishing line needs to be kept clear at all times and students not competing at that time are to be kept in the assembly area.  Â
• For minor injuries, First Aid treatment is available at the marshalling area.  In case of serious injury or accidents please use the first aid rooms in the Administration area and work with administration staff when contacting medical professionals.  Alternatively there will be first aid and mobile phone facilities at the marshalling area.
• All going to plan we will finish by 3pmÂ
