I decided to pursue a career in teaching because I loved the idea of making a difference in a child's world. I believe good teachers inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in a caring environment. It is rewarding to see the progress they make and to be a part of their learning journeys. While recognising that each child is unique, my ultimate goal is to help students grow into confident, inquisitive, and compassionate individuals who are ready to face the world with curiosity and resilience.
Beyond the classroom, I find inspiration in nature. You can find me either mountain bike riding the local trails, hiking, fishing, hunting and gathering kai with my Husband, son and furbaby.
