Tēnā koutou katoa
Ko Lisa Pellowe tōku ingoa.
I was born in Rotorua and grew up in Taupō. I studied Japanese and Linguistics at Waikato University and spent three months living in Japan studying as part of my degree. In 2006, I returned to Waikato University to complete my teacher training.
My husband is Dave and we have three adult children, Ben, Ashley and Emma and a mokopuna named Leo.
In my free time I love to read, cross stitch, practice yoga, go to the gym or a long walk, go fishing and spend time with my family, friends and three cats.
I am excited to be working at Tongariro School. I endeavour to make school a safe and enjoyable place for all ākonga and their whanau creating a collaborative learning relationship with all involved to meet the learning needs of our students.
Poipoia te kakano kia puawai. Nurture the seed and it will blossom.
He waka eke noa. We are all in this together.
No reira, Tēnā koutou katoa
Lisa
